To pass the time while waiting for construction to begin, Lori was busy visiting as many local wineries and breweries as possible (it's a rough life, but somebody had to do it.......). She continues to meet with many wonderful people that are embracing what we want to do! We plan to be open year around and feature as many local vintners, brewers and farmers as possible.
The "For Sale" and "Sold" signs are gone....... It took a while to get design and permits squared away, but we've cleared that hurdle and are moving forward. That's dumpster #2 in the background! We've got the ideas flowing and the biggest problem is reigning in what we want to do! We're hopeful to be ready to open in Spring 2020.
We're still on target to be able to open in Spring, 2020 - just in time for everyone to come unWINEd on our beautiful outdoor decks and patio. Now that the weather has turned nicer, our crew has been able to move outside. We've got an awesome group working on this project and we couldn't be happier with their dedication to our vision!
Our goal is to create an atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable to come and unwind (aka, UnWINEd). Enjoy a glass of wine or a cold glass of craft beer with some culinary shareables.
We are Lori, Randy and Autumn (the little one) Rakosnik and after 25+ years in corporate America, split between Chicago and far northwestern Minnesota, we couldn't be more excited to be putting our roots in Minnesota Bluff Country! In just a short time, we feel like we've made some wonderful friendships and are anxious to open our doors to tourists and locals alike. Our mission has been, and always will be, to make a difference wherever we go.
